The TA200 supports SIP (RFC3261) protocol and offers versatile transport options including UDP, TCP, TLS, and SRTP for secure and reliable communication.

Key features include support for popular codecs like G.711 (alaw/ulaw) and G.729A/B, along with advanced voice capabilities such as ITU-T G.168 LEC echo cancellation and dynamic jitter buffer for clear, high-quality calls. The device also supports multiple DTMF modes (RFC2833, SIP Info, In-band) and provides flexible network options, including DHCP, OpenVPN, PPPoE, Static Route, and VLAN.

The TA200 is compatible with major platforms such as Asterisk, Lync Server, FreePBX, and is certified with Elastix, ensuring broad interoperability. It also supports multiple caller ID formats, including BELL202 and ETSI (V23), with disconnect methods like busy tone and polarity reversal.
